This stuff is pretty good. I made this recipe up and always keep the ingredients in the fridge for times of great hunger. Let me know if you try it!
Lazy Alfredo
1 Package of Ramen Noodles
1 Can of grated or package of shredded (preferred) Parmesan Cheese
1 Jar of Alfredo sauce from the store
Chicken of some sort (optional)
In a large bowl or Tupperware, place the Ramen brick on its side, then fill the container with water until it covers the top of the noodles.
Put in the Microwave for 6-7 minutes (or 2:30 if you are impatient like me).
When it’s done, stir the noodles into the hot water, to get them to loosen up, then drain. *Tip* it’s easy to drain noodles by holding a fork on the corner of a square Tupperware, then pouring the water out slowly. Once the water is drained, pour on sauce to desired consistency–I prefer a little extra. Put in chopped up chicken breast or whatever chicken you have around. Pretty much anything works here. I’ve even done it with hamburger before.
Next, add Parmesan cheese, the more the merrier. You can add garlic power to make it even better.
Once you have everything in the container, stir it up for a minute so that the sauce heats on the noodles.
Good, eh? I’ve also done it with tomato sauce and ground beef. Both dishes go well with SG’s Lazy Garlic Bread below.
Stoned Gopher’s Lazy Garlic Bread
1 Slice of Bread
A tub of butter or Margarine. I like to buy Country Crock.
Garlic Salt
Toast the bread, and spread butter across the hot slice (lol), and salt lightly with Garlic Salt.
It’s good considering the amount of work you have to put in!
